JMJ DESIGN has imagined a brand new line of contemporary furniture which is totally unique and colourful : The flower furniture. This new line is the result of a new approach to interior decoration, aesthetics and functionality of storage furniture. Uniqueness, variety, personalization, efficiency are the key words of JMJ DESIGN’s creations. The intention of it's designers Jean-Michel Verges and Jing Jin is to make storing away beautiful.
Each piece is made to order. Each customer will choose a model, be it chest of drawers, coffee table or cabinet, and choose one of the sizes which have been optimized to reduce manufacturing costs. Then, in the catalogue of photos you are invited to choose the picture which you like most to become the decor of your piece of furniture.
There are over 2000 combinations possible. JMJ DESIGN can even help you to choose the best picture considering your colour choice and the type of furniture you need.
JMJ DESIGN has been awarded the 2006 prize from French CRITT for its innovative design and technique.
Indeed, not only the result is strikingly beautiful, but moreover, the material used to inlay the image will resists to most domestic accidents, detergents and even cigarette burns.
The shapes are purposely simple in order to let the colorful photo come first and strike you to the point that the storing function is unseen behind the decorative function.
However, even unseen, JMJ DESIGN delivers a 100% usability of each piece of furniture. The bases of the chests conceal drawers, the coffee tables allow to hide CD’s or DVD’s, the top of the dining table is reversible to offer two different pictures…

The Flower Furniture line has been developed next to other creations of JMJ DESIGN, namely the French-Connexion.biz line which has been awarded the Gold Medal of the GuangZhou 2008 furniture Fair where it was first presented. |
